Charles has strong global experience across a wide range of live creative mediums spanning commercial musical theatre, mega-events, stadium and arena shows, government projects and arts organisations.

Known as a producer, project manager, technical director and strategic thinker, Charles has produced light shows in Paris, toured West End and Broadway productions throughout Asia, developed event and destination strategies, created unique technical spectaculars, delivered stadium broadcast shows and ceremonies, brokered shows across the globe, raised investment and developed new IP for production.

Valued for his approach to project management and attention to detail, Charles’ greatest strength is speaking the creative and technical languages, allowing both to thrive in development and delivery, whilst maintaining a sensible and savvy approach to the business of live entertainment.

Charles is passionate about developing new productions and creating IP for the world. He is experienced in production development and management as a producer, project manager and general manager. This background culminates in a range of services including complex budget modelling, scheduling, deal structuring and show production. Understanding the special degree of risk that comes with live production, Charles puts the creative front-and-centre whilst maintaining a savvy and sensible approach to the business.

Consultancy

With his broad experience, Charles consults across a variety of areas including: creative development, project business development, event development, strategic planning, destination strategy, development of creative and technical systems and processes, as well as brokering productions and events around the world.

Charles has a range of technical direction, management and coordination experience including: technical interpretation and delivery of creative concepts and outcomes, production coordination and administration, technical integration, production and tour logistics, technical approach, technical methodology, stage management, freight logistics, health and safety, venue and environment design and fit-out.
